The AGH University of Krakow has launched the AGH University Drone Centre (CEDR AGH).
The unit brings together the expertise of specialists in unmanned technologies and uses one of the largest university fleets of unmanned aerial vehicles in Poland.
The new Centre will coordinate research, develop infrastructure, and foster collaboration between academia, industry, and public institutions.
The AGH University of Krakow recorded a considerable improvement in the latest evaluation of the quality of its scientific activity for the years 2022–2025. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has awarded AGH University as many as seven A+ ratings, eight A ratings, and two B+ ratings. This is the best result among Polish technical universities in terms of the number of disciplines awarded category A+. At the same time, AGH University ranks second among all institutions assessed in Poland with respect to the number of disciplines that received the highest ratings.
